Join us in Launceston’s own Kingsway to celebrate what Peace means to you.
As part of the 2017 Tamar Valley Peace Festival the Businesses of the Kingsway are opening their doors late so we can celebrate our diverse community, and leading via example our commitment to basic Human Rights and needs. This celebration is also about giving back to our community and this year supporting the hard work done by the Launceston feeding the Homeless organisation. So for the month of July the Kingsway businesses will be accepting non-perishable donations. Then on Friday the 28th July during our Peace Party you can help us load up the donations into the van and send them on their way.

7pm
Off Center Cafe- unknown Artist display-
A selection of Martinis and collection point for donations to Launceston Feeding the homeless
8pm
Earthy Eatss will be open all evening
as a " late night soup kitchen"
From 8pm Yyan Ng and Karlin Love will be performing on a range of cultural instruments including the Shakuhachi Flute, Clarinet , guitar and even Taiko drumming !
9pm
Kingsway Bar will be open all evening - with all profits from Little Rivers Brewing Co. Little Rivers beer going to Launceston feeding the homeless
Elliot Courtnage will bring home the evening with his reggae inspired tunes from 9pm till late
An event truly embracing what an inclusive multicultural city Launceston is , thinking local but acting global ❤K
On Friday the 28th of July all that has been donated will be collected and we want to celebrate this with you.
“Launceston Feeding the Homeless” is a wonderful community initiative and this is a chance for us to give back to you as you give to them. So get on down to the Kingsway during July and donate. Plus, make sure you put Friday the 28th July in your diary so you can help load the truck with the donations and help celebrate with the Tamar Peace Festival
